Das Bouquet ist von einer süßen Note geprägt, die sich auch am Gaumen in Form von Weichheit und Rundheit wiederfindet. Eigenschaften, die sich mit seinem mäßigen Körper verbinden und den Tachtas zu einem besonders vielseitigen Tischwein machen. Der „Tachtas“ passt gut zu weißem Fleisch und überbackenen Nudeln, aber auch viele exotische Rezepte, die Curry oder Kurkuma enthalten, lassen sich gut mit diesem Wein kombinieren.

Unclouded opulence on the nose, blessing it with yellow pumpkin and cantaloupe, backed by a stone-fruit reading of cracked wheat and apricot at lower intensity, all within an overall rich, oily projection. Yellow, fully ripe, buttery flowers, blossom honey, and a faint herbal hint sit within a discreetly spicy frame, with a very delicate trace of silo and barley in passing. Fleshy, commanding, and expansive on the full-bodied palate. Rich, beautifully textured, honeyed fruit follows the generous aromatic directive to the letter, delivered with ample weight and butteriness, counterbalanced by a lively, wave-like acidity that lifts the wine’s heavy style. Although the needle points to 13% alcohol, it can by no means be described as light or Northern European in character; its overall warm expression is supported by a strong phenolic—almost tannic—structure. The firm spicy environment, softened by gentle herbal notes, is quickly relieved past the mid-palate by a clearly defined mineral line. Well-composed on the above-average finish, where the tireless work of phenolics across the palate meets an active mineral counterpoint. Sufficiently spicy and honeyed, it partially reawakens its herbal theme before moving into an earthy register with a nutty nuance reminiscent of bulgur swollen in water. The sulphur is well integrated and carries through cleanly. |
